Much of my motion graphic work has been used in medical informational videos. I am able to take a concept of complex science and transform it into an easy to understand video for the general public. With the ability to take a video from initial concepts to storyboard to design to animation, I can work both collaboratively in a large artistic team, honing in on one aspect of the pipeline, or I can be a one-woman animation specialist who can take a video from start to finish all on her own!
With my background in character animation, I'm able to not only create scientific videos that are easy to understand, but I can also take the project to the next level and create a visually engaging piece that will resonate with viewers.

Science of Grit is a scientist-written and icon-driven video series which was commissioned by Vertex. My role in this series was to create the storyboards (the initial timed first-draft) as well as create the designs and choose images for the series.

iRobot commissioned our team to showcase the educational value of their Root Coding Robot. As the associate creative director, I was involved in every asset of creation, being the primary storyboarder, designer, and animator as well as keeping a close eye on client reviews and meetings.

Vertex's animated video series, "Vertex Forward" offers a unique spin on stylizing complex medical and scientific research. I was very fortunate to be taken on to storyboard and design on a handful of these videos, working off of an established design and matching both style and pacing of older videos. While the scripts are complex, detailing the science of cell encapsulation, cystic fibrosis, and so much more, it is always an exciting challenge to showcase medicine in a new light.

These videos for MassDPH about sexual and reproductive health showcase how characters can uplift and empower a viewer. Using characters with an otherwise heavy topic can often humanize the video and bring more levity to the conversation.

I was the associate creative director on these videos, working directly with our clients to bring their vision to life.
As well as being hands on with the production, I also was the primary designer and animator and was proud to have been able to take this project from beginning to end.
